OUR STATEMENT OF FAITH

  • We believe in the Holy Scriptures, divinely inspired by God, written by men and these alone are the sole authority for faith and practice. They are infallible and inerrant as contained in the original Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek texts. The Holy Scriptures are comprised of the Old and New Testaments, with thirty-nine books in the former and twenty-seven books in the latter. There are many translations of these infallible and inerrant texts, and these are not inspired. Some translations are abominations and rise to the level of heresy themselves. Some heresies have arisen around textual criticism, insisting that certain translations are the inspired word rather than the original manuscripts.
  • We believe in one God who is seen in three persons, one in unity and three in essence. Within this tri-unity (Trinity), none comes before or after; none is greater or inferior. All three persons are coequal and coeternal, so that in every way all three persons are to be worshiped as one God and one God worshiped as three persons. They exist at the same time, have for all eternity and will for all eternity. All three members of the Godhead of omniscient, omnipotent, and omnipresent.
  • We believe in the Father, the almighty, uncreated, eternal, and divine. He is the source of love who draws men to repentance and faith to Jesus Christ.
  • We believe in the Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, creator of heaven and earth, uncreated, eternal, pre-incarnate and divine, fully God and fully man, God from God, light from light, true God from true God, perfect in both deity and humanness. He is the only Son of God, conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary.
  • We believe the Lord Jesus Christ lived a sinless life, suffered under Pontius Pilate, and was crucified, died, and was buried. On the third day, He rose in accordance with the Holy Scriptures and ascended into Heaven where He is seated at the right hand of God the Father and is the only mediator between Man and God, according to the scriptures.
  • We believe in the Holy Spirit, uncreated and eternal, the giver of life who proceeds from the Father and the Son. He indwells the believer and is our guide and comforter.
  • We believe that salvation is through the grace of God alone, not by works least anyone should boast.
  • We believe salvation; entrance into Heaven and life everlasting is through belief in Christ alone and the acceptance of His substitutionary atoning work and penal substitution on the cross. There is no name under Heaven by which men must be saved and without faith in Jesus Christ and His sacrifice, salvation in not attainable. Those who do not attain such a great salvation, through faith, will be eternally separated from God in Hell (Hades) and will face the Great White Throne Judgment according to Revelation 20:11-15. Punishment will be in the Lake of Fire (Gehenna) – which is an eternal and conscious punishment. We do not hold to the doctrine of “inclusivity” as some call it – but to the doctrine of “exclusivity.”
  • We believe it is the will of Jesus Christ to manifest His own character through the Body of Christ, the Assembly of Believers (commonly referred to as “the Church”). To accomplish that through individual believers, the Holy Spirit gives every believer, at the time of conversion, a unique spiritual giftedness with which to minister to the rest of the Body of Christ. The Holy Spirit gives the gifts by divine will and choice.
  • We believe the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God and the dead in Christ will rise first. Then those who are in Christ, who are alive and remain shall be caught up (raptured) together in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air and thus will remain with Him forever and ever. The timing of these events are non-essential doctrines of the church. However, believe the literal fulfillment of Christ’s return, reign, and Kingdom where He rewards the righteous (which is not obtained by works but through faith) and the wicked – is an essential doctrine.
  • We believe that every knee shall bow and that every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. This is a direct quotation of Isaiah 45:23, where every knee bows to Yahweh. Jesus is Yahweh, the creator of heaven and earth. All will acknowledge this at His second coming. This is not figurative. It is literal. He is God in flesh and to be worshiped as such.
  • We believe that ONLY the sacrifice of the Cross satisfied the wrath of God upon sin (John 3:36). There is only one way to God the Father in Heaven, the Lord Jesus Christ. There is only one truth, the Word of God contained in the Holy Scriptures (the Old and New Testaments of the Bible). There is only one life eternal. – John 14:6. All other ways (be they be Judaism, Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism, Universalism, Inclusivism, etc.), invented by man and devils, are false ways and lead one’s soul to eternal separation from God in a place known as Hell (temporarily in Hades and eternally in Gehenna). Only faith in the finished work of the Cross provides salvation for the soul.
